UNI inaugurated

 

UNI was officially inaugurated on Thursday March 28th, 2013  in the presence of the authorities of the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
Introductory words by the rector Didier Viviers and by Pierre Vangerhaeghen were followed by an extraordinary lecture
by Tobias Bonhoeffer (Max Planck Institute of Neurobiology) on neural plasticity.

Organisation of seminars.

Seminars of different kinds are organized on a regular weekly basis.

Data seminars are held each Monday at 09H30, in which all Ph.D. students and Postdocs present their results and/or projects.

General seminars are organized each Thursday at 1 PM in collaboration with the other laboratories of the Doctoral School of Interdisciplinary Research .The speakers are invited from inside the School, from other Belgian laboratories or from abroad. The subjects are meant to cover a wide variety of domains in biomedical sciences.
